How can you shorten waiting times?

How can you shorten waiting times?

Shortening time limits

1) Infoboards

Many amusement parks nowadays have digital info boards with waiting times. Whether general signs (with an overview of all current waiting times); or specific signs per attraction.

2) The park app

Download (on your smartphone) the app of an amusement park. Chances are you'll find a map with the current waiting times per attraction.

3) Quick access

Sometimes amusement parks have a system for faster access to the attraction: via a so-called "Fast Lane'. For example, Disney's former "Fast Pass', now called "Disney Premier Access'. In short: you pay to get in (through a separate entrance) faster.

4) Virtual Queue

With this free option you actually wait. While you're staying elsewhere in the park, you're pulling a virtual pop for a certain attraction. When it's your turn (read: when your time lock has arrived) you can enter the attraction via a separate entrance, thus shortening the wait.

5) Single Rider

Anyone who has to do an attraction on their own has one advantage: they may be placed in a single rider service, if the attraction has access to it. There's a reason for this, too. Attraction workers sometimes pick up some from this single line to fill empty spaces in a cart. It may be that as a loner you still have to be patient.

7) Algemeen

In addition to the above ideas, there are also the more general issues. They speak for themselves, but I'll get them straight.

When the park gates open go straight to the back of the park, because at that time there is still the least people

You decide for yourself: Do I do this attraction now or do I have time for it later?

Do an outdoor attraction when the weather is bad (and put one inside when the weather is nice)

Do an attraction on the food hours (e.g. afternoon and evening)

Waiting takes time and unfortunately also lost money. Saving on your trip is therefore always nice. This can be done onyour train journey.

A tip that may seem banal, but of course can help: see that you can keep an eye on time yourself (at any time): via a smartphone or .watch !
