This is a sample page. It differs from a site post in that it is located in a fixed spot and appears in your site navigation (in most themes). Many people start with an "About" page to introduce themselves to site visitors. It might say something like this:

Hello, everyone! I work as a mail carrier during the day and act in the evenings. I live in Amsterdam, have a dachshund named Hecktor, and love strong coffee.

…or something like this:

The XYZ Association was founded in 1971 and is committed to providing quality services to its members. Since its founding, the association has had more than 1,000 members, many of whom volunteer their time to keep XYZ running.

As a new WordPress user, go to your dashboard to delete this page and create new pages for your site. Have fun!
